Welcome to the official website of the International Society of Football Scholars. Here you will find information about the Society, a copy of the constitution, contents and abstracts of past issues of the Society's journal Football Studies, links to other sites of interest, copies of the newsletter, forthcoming conferences and events, recent publications in the field and a form to join the Football Studies Group. From time to time, we will post additional information on conferences, information on International Society of Football Scholars affiliates and news items of interest. This is designed to be a site for those interested in the academic study of football and our area of interest includes ALL codes of football, from soccer to Australian Rules football, from American football to Gaelic. The site is intended to be comprehensive and the website manager will be happy to post information and details about research projects, recent publications, websites to add to the list of links etc - simply email the International Society of Football Scholars with your contributions.
